Margarita Miranda-Abate

Margarita Miranda-Abate is a top national consumer media relations expert with nearly 15 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods and health and beauty sectors. As a consumer media expert, Margarita works on a daily basis with senior editors, reporters and producers at the nation’s most widely-read and influential consumer magazines, newspapers, television programs and blogs.

Margarita’s media relations work for consumer products crosses many consumer categories and includes developing and implementing the award-winning PR program for the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, a program that resulted in unprecedented media coverage and was rolled out globally. In addition, Margarita established and launched the PR program for Dove Face, an effort that included a 75-person press trip for national magazine editors. Margarita also led the successful PR launch for Lubriderm Skin Renewal, an effort that resulted in coverage in 98% of the national long lead publications that were targeted.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Margarita has developed and implemented multi-cultural marketing programs for numerous clients including Avon, AMBI Skincare, Clean ‘N Clear, AVEENO and Vistakon Pharmaceuticals, and Johnnie Walker.

Prior to working with Dynabrand, Margarita, who is based in New York City, held senior management positions at several top global public relations agencies and worked in advertising at Hal Riney &Partners.

Margarita holds a BA in Theater Management and Anthropology from City University of New York and an MFA in Theater from Brooklyn College.
