Ann Magnin

Ann Magnin is a fashion public relations and media relations expert with nearly 20 years of experience working with top fashion brands.

Ann’s love of fashion runs deep -- her great-great-grandmother, Mary Ann Magnin, founded I. Magnin & Company, the high fashion and specialty goods luxury department store, and her great-grandfather was Joseph Magnin, the founder of The Joseph Magnin Company, a high-end specialty department store.

After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Dramatic Art, Ann moved to New York where she served as director of publicity and public relations at Ralph Lauren Women’s Wear for seven years. While there, Ann was responsible for all aspects of their publicity and PR including fashion shows, special events and media relations. She was also responsible for interfacing with each of the women’s division’s licensees and the corporate office on all matters relating to Ralph Lauren’s overall marketing strategy.

Ann has also worked with apparel and accessories clients including The Worth Collection, W by Worth, Banana Republic, Fred Leighton, Temple St. Claire Carr, Three Dots, Panache and Tamara Henriques.

In 2009 alone, Ann has secured strategic fashion media coverage in media outlets including InStyle, People, Allure, O Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Town & Country, Marie Claire, Redbook, Lucky, Fitness, Self, Life & Style, Shape and Glamour.

Ann is based in New York City.
